Marlene Nucifora Director of Education Lakme USA Marlene has been a beauty industry professional for over 30 years. Her passion is hair color and hair design.   After completing her degree in Fashion Merchandising she headed to Cosmetology School and was able to work in New York City with some of the industry greats at Studio International.  She has been involved in most aspects of the beauty industry throughout her career.  Aside from currently being Director of Education for Lakme USA, Marlene is also Director of Artistic Academy, a DePasquale Company, and a  National trainer for the Look Good…Feel Better program.  She has truly followed her bliss by successfully incorporating what she refers to as her two true loves—namely educating and the ever-evolving field of cosmetology.  She has forged a career for herself that is truly a labor of love.

Arda Itez Education Manager Lakme USA A 17 year veteran of the beauty industry, Arda Itez has been a trail blazer in the development and growth of Lakme  throughout the United States. Arda’s extensive experience behind the chair specializing in corrective color combined with a career history in film and television, and as Director of Education for Artec Systems of NJ and NY , make her one of the most dynamic and motivating presenters in the  beauty industry. A graduate of DePasquale’s own Artistic Academy, and as one of the leaders of Lakme USA’s Educational Team, Arda’s gratification comes from the heightened success that the Lakme brand brings to distributors and salons throughout the country.  Her philosophy is to “educate stylists on how to do better for their clients which in turn allows them to do better for themselves”.

Denise Mackrell DePasquale Companies , NJ Denise Mackrell , a 24 year beauty industry professional, is the Director of Education at the prestigious Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. A former Framesi educator, Denise has been featured in BE, Main Line Today and Delaware Today magazines as well on Philadelphia’s 10 Show and ABC. She is also a stylist to the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. When Denise is not behind the chair, she brings her passion and dedication to Lakme’s educational team- sharing her knowledge and expertise with salons in the tri state area.

Holly Greely Liquid Assets - Louisiana Holly was an attendee of Lockworks Academie just as it was switching to The Neil Corporation (Aveda). A stylist for ten years and salon owner for 5, she began teaching two years ago for Liquid Assets in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with Keratin Complex. Always immersing herself in education, Holly has been trained by industry greats such as Van Council of Van Michael Salons, Steve D' Caro and Don Bewley of Eufora, Melissa Stone  of Sasson, Sam Bracato of Beautopia, and many more.  Holly prides herself on mastering the most current trends and techniques in the industry and loves to share her knowledge her industry peers, making her a tremendous asset to both Liquid Assets and Lakme USA.

Laura Young Beauty Revolution - California Laura Young has been a color specialist for over 20 years and has traveled extensively as an international haircolor platform artist, worked with top color designers and helped develop some of the most successful education formats in the business, all while maintaining an active clientele. Laura’s wide range of experience and knowledge makes her a tremendous asset to the Lakme USA educational team  

Ashlie Sampson Beauty Revolution - California Since 2006 Ashlie Sampson has worked in various capacities in the beauty industry. Trained at a Paul Mitchell focus salon, she has been involved with many editorial photo shoots, lead hair for fashion shows, produced beautiful bridal parties, and has even has even had her work featured on a reality television show. Her true passion is color and Lakme USA has contributed to the growth of her artistry!  

Gary Palmer Innovative Spa and Salon Solutions- Missouri Gary began his career at Westham College of Fashion in London, England. After receiving his certification, he went immediately to work at world-renowned Daniel Galvin, located in London’s prestigious West End. In 1985, Gary brought his considerable talents to the United States. Opening his own salon in 1992, gary palmer, a hair salon soon gained a great reputation as one of the top salons in the St. Louis area. Gary’s personal educational program launched the careers of many of today’s most talented stylists. Gary continued his own education by attending Sassoon and Toni & Guy Academies on a regular basis. In 1999, he returned to his hairstyling roots, London, where he managed Faltricks, a group of three internationally known salons. In 2002, Gary brought his family back to St. Louis, where he Continued his career as a stylist and educator for L’Oreal Professionnel. He has now joined Lakme USA’s team of educators and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.  

Dana Nucifora DePasquale Companies, New Jersey Since 2009, Dana Nucifora has been a licensed cosmetology educator, specializing in hair color. Her passion began while she attended Depasquale’s own Artistic Academy, and grew as she found her place in education. Having participated in various beauty fundraisers and charity events, Dana realizes the importance of giving back and integrates this philosophy into her teaching methods. As a National Lakme Educator, she is responsible for Lakme education at Artistic Academy, where she teaches the Lakme Fundamentals classes and ensures that each student thoroughly understands the theory and application of Lakme color. Dana is the salon manager at Artistic Academy, which is a Lakme Salon. She is able to guide her students to great client service and retail. This allows her to hone her skills and bring creativity to her work. She looks forward to gaining new experiences and broadening her horizons.

Lauren Carey Innovative Spa and Salon Solutions - Missouri Lauren Carey is a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School, and is currently employed as a full time stylist with Rio Salon in Parkville, Missouri. Lauren has been using Lakmē products and color since 2010, and has recently joined Lakmē USA’s team of educators. Fashion shows, beauty fundraisers, and charity events are a few of the projects Lauren has recently participated in. She loves being able to give back to her community and is always enthusiastic when it comes to learning new color and cutting techniques. Lauren is excited about being a part of the Lakme team and looks forward to new experiences in this ever evolving industry.
